To our valued patients:

If you have a medical emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

As of December 1, the CoastNeuro office at 2 James Way is closed to routine patient visits. Dr. Filippi is closing his practice and is relocating closer to family in Southern California.

Drs. Hardesty, Masny and Patel will remain in the area. They will continue to care for their patients and are prepared to see the patients of Dr. Filippi as well. They are scheduled to reopen a new neurological center January 6th, 2020, under Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers network, in Arroyo Grande.

The details of this transition are being finalized. As soon as possible, we will provide information about how to enroll in the new neurology clinic. Please continue to follow this website for the most up to date details.

If you choose to continue under the care of Drs. Hardesty, Masny, and Patel at the new clinic, they can get access to your past CoastNeuro records and you do not need to transfer them yourself. If you want to have your records transferred to another doctor, or to receive a copy yourself, you can call the office at (805)-547-2224. We are also in the process of establishing a long term repository of CoastNeuro records, and will provide access instructions when it is established.

During our transition we will have the fax lines open for prescription refill requests and we will be receiving electronic prescription refill requests from pharmacies. Our doctors are also providing emergent care via the Emergency Department at French Hospital, by staffing as on-call neurologic consultants.

Phone lines are currently open during normal business hours, at (805)-547-2224. During this period of transition we will attempt to address non-emergent needs and records requests in a timely manner.

We greatly apologize for the inconvenience we know this unexpected change is causing for all of our patients. Our priority remains our patients' health.

Drs. Filippi, Masny, Hardesty and Patel
